As a young man with a dream, Larry earned a BS degree in Fruit Science from Cal Poly SLO, and a MS degree in Agricultural Chemistry focused in Enology from CSUF Fresno. He spent the next 21 years making wine for Lockwood Vineyard, J. Lohr Winery, and the Wildhorse Winery.
Larry has been enjoying his Via Vega Vineyard since 1998. The grapes grown here and wines he has created all reflect a lifelong commitment to quality.
